Join Julie Moffitt Ballet School dancers as they dance to tell the story of an original children's story, “The Adventure of Ivy and Miles” written by Aimee Davis, and illustrated by Emma Gonzales. The creativity of the dances by our own talented JMBS teachers are unique and enjoyable! There will be an assortment of music, dance styles and choreography and of course amazing costumes. The “Adventures of Ivy and Miles” is not only entertaining but it is also a story of courage and hope. This Spring Dance Production is worth telling your friends and family about!  This full-length dance adventure is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
 
Moving to a new home brings up all kinds of insecurities and fears for Ivy and Miles. Follow their adventures as they take an unforgettable journey through dreams and imagination to The World of Dreams, the Forest of Inspiration, the Kingdom of Silvercrest, across the sea, and to the Isle of Wonders. In search of treasure and the key to home, Ivy and Miles come upon numerous creatures, fascinating sights such as Garden Gnomes, Waterfalls, Warriors, Unicorns, Swamp creatures, Mermaids, and Pirates. With bravery and help from the creatures they meet on their way, Ivy and Miles eventually overcome their fears of change and replace them with courage, hope, and a little faith. Their best adventure of all though, was finding that home is wherever you make it.
 

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • Ages 3+ are welcome. Everyone needs a ticket.
  • Prices include all taxes and fees.
  • Showtime length includes an intermission.
 
SCHEDULE:
  • Lobby doors open one hour before showtime.
  • House doors open 45 minutes before showtime.
  • There will be one intermission.
  • Door times are subject to change.

View our parking map here. The closest and most accessible parking is the garage behind the theater on Kiesel Ave and costs $6.00. This garage is wheelchair accessible. The ADA drop off area is located in the Key Bank parking located on 25th street.

FULL PERFORMANCE LISTING

In order to provide a safe and professional atmosphere at our theater, we ask that all volunteer Ushers adhere to the following policies:

  • Ushers must volunteer 12 events per calendar year (this amount may be pro-rated depending on their starting date. For example, if they start in early November, they will only need to volunteer 2 times that calendar year).
  • Only ages 16+ are allowed to usher. If under 18, a parent/guardian over the age of 18 must also be volunteering with them.
  • Only 3 “No-Show’s” are allowed. Ushers must provide the Box Office Coordinator and/or House Manager with written or verbal notice if they cannot attend their shift.
  • Dress Code:
    • Women: Black or white dress shirt, black pants or skirt, or a black dress.
    • Men: Black or white dress shirt (button-down front), tie (optional), black pants.
    • Close-toed shoes, preferably dark.
    • No hats, jeans, tennis shoes, tank tops, T-shirts, etc.
  • Physical Requirements & Accommodations:
    • Standing for Extended Periods – Ability to stand for long periods of time, with breaks as needed.
    • Walking and Moving Quickly – Ability to walk throughout the venue, escorting guests, checking tickets, and ensuring safety.
    • Climbing Stairs and Navigating Multiple Levels – Ability to navigate staircases and various levels of the venue to assist guests in finding their seats.
    • Bending and Reaching – Ability to bend or reach to pick up lost items, assist with seating adjustments, or provide assistance to guests.
    • Clear Communication – Ability to speak clearly to provide assistance to guests and communicate with team members.
    • Good Vision and Hearing – Ability to visually identify guest tickets and seating, and to hear inquiries or safety-related information.
