This year we are recognizing Julie Moffitt Ballet School's 30th Anniversary as we celebrate the milestones and people that have made our dance school what it is today with our recital theme, “Becoming Me!”

Dances performed at this recital are inspired by some of the human experiences and memories that many of us share as a culture and as individuals. Dance students and the audience alike can reminisce or visualize the future through the presentation of the dances which have been created to represent the stages of life and time periods of human development from infancy to late adulthood. JMBS hopes to stir your soul with dances of various moods and music from silly-to emotional-to hopeful, as that is what we all have in common. No matter what chapter of life you’re in, we hope you enjoy watching the dances, thinking back on your life, and how your experiences have shaped you into the person you are, as well as look forward to the future of aspirations and dreams yet to come!

Come join us for an enjoyable day of dance! Students (ages 3 - adult) have been creating and working with their teachers on creating dances since October and are looking forward to sharing them with you!

An exciting variety of dance genres will be performed at each performance (Creative dance, tap, ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and hip-hop).

Come early to view a video showcasing the JMBS (11) Graduating Dance Seniors!

(A dance boutique will be in the lobby before and after each performance to give your favorite dancer a keepsake of flowers, jewelry, dance trinkets, etc.)
