Junction City Blues Band is a Rockin’, Rhythm and Blues band from Ogden, Utah. The band has been together since 2018. The band consists of Ray Franklin/Vocals/Guitar, Kurtis Cromptom/Saxophone, Vic Eschler/Bass/Vocals, Mont Smith-Drums. They play a variety of music which includes artists like Keb Mo’, Bill Withers, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaugh, Jimmi Hendrix and Prince.
In 2023, the was named Best Jazz/Blues Band by the Standard Examiner for The Best of Northern Utah Readers Choice Awards. This year marks the third year the band has been invited to play for Excellence in the Community. More information about guest artists coming soon.
